Training in Samara Polytech is conducted in Russian. If you do not have a certificate confirming the knowledge of the Russian language or you did not study Russian at school, you can learn Russian in the Prepaparory Center.
The Center trains foreign citizens who do not speak Russian for further studying Bachelor, Master and Postgraduate Programs in Samara Polytech or other higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation. Training is carried out in three profiles: natural-science, engineering and biomedical.
Foreign citizens are prepared for further mastering professional educational programs in the Russian language and are taught by skillful teachers that have professional educational certificates in the field of teaching relevant disciplines to foreign citizens.
Training is carried out in groups of international students (up to 20).
After finishing the Preparatory Course foreign students take final exams. Students who pass the final exams successfully receive a certificate. The Certificate gives foreign citizens the right to enter Samara Polytech and any other University of the Russian Federation.
Students who don’t complete the whole course or fail the final exams in the general education program, receive a document indicating the subjects, number of studied hours and the period of study.
Upon
admission to Samara State Technical University, foreign students who
have completed an additional general education program receive a
discount in the amount of 30-35% for bachelor degree programs and 20%
for master degree programs. The discount can be kept if students pass
the subsequent set of exams with "good" and "excellent"
results and pay the tuition fee in time.
